8 Million Ways To Die: Porners Slain in Garden Grove?

There was a triple murder in the 8700 block of Summercrest Circle in Garden Grove, CA over the weekend. A child, a 20-something woman, and a 30-something man. No exact names yet, no exact address. However, it is a circle ending in a cul-de-sac, and I count only 5, maybe 6 dwellings (Google Maps zoom function = a beautiful thing) 8731 Summercrest would be the first dwelling on the right as you enter the cul-de-sac. In a photo in the OC Register, it appears the address where all the police vehicles are parked may indeed be 8731. And here is a hit I get a few times on the web when I search that address:

C. Cleveland is one Curtis W. Cleveland, possibly 48 years old. Another search I did tied him to this address, perhaps in the past:

And that is tied to Dusk til’ Dawn, which produces porn, again. There’s more, but as I’m only feeling out these connections in an effort to find out more I won’t bore you with it. I just thought you might know a little more about Dusk til’ Dawn or Cleveland, and also that you might find it an interesting story to follow.

(05-30) 11:51 PDT Garden Grove, Calif. (AP) –

Police served a search warrant Tuesday at a home where officers found the bodies of three murdered family members and a dehydrated infant, authorities said.

The victims included a man, a woman and a 7-year-old boy, Garden Grove police Lt. Mike Handfield said. Police went to the home Monday evening after a friend of the dead woman reported she had not shown up for work over the weekend.

Investigators have ruled out murder-suicide and were treating the case as a triple homicide, Handfield said.

Investigators declined to say how the victims were killed. The 1-year-old girl was found dehydrated with facial injuries. She was taken to a hospital, where she was treated and released. She has been taken into protective custody.

Police have yet to determine a motive and no suspects have been arrested.

UPDATE
Luke Ford reports that that the murders may have occurred at the residence of preacher-turned-pornographer Tyce Bune and includes a Bune bio as well as interviews.

UPDATE II
Luke now reports that he is told that Bune no longer lives at the Garden Grove residence, somewhat apparent by the fact that the three victims were Vietnamese and Bune is Caucasian.

The address of the triple homicide is 8711 Summercrest Circle, Garden Grove, CA.92844…Not my house, never was. I am divorced and living elsewhere in Orange County with Thi Michele. That’s all there is…I used to live 4 doors down from the crime scene…end of subject…You folks are really bored…huh?

You need to change the address on the certificate of compliance on your Dusk Til Dawn video releases, Tyce, so armchair detectives don’t confuse your house with that of a horrific crime scene.

Since there’s no porn connection to the story any longer (that we know of), Luke Ford will probably jump ship but rest assured that 8763 Wonderland will stay on the job. Once we’ve plunked our boots into a steaming pile of Southern California true crime we don’t back off.

Given the sheer brutality of the crime, smart money is on Vietnamese gangs. Then there’s the issue of the husband’s criminal past and his jailhouse tattoos and the wife’s job at a casino. Who needs a porno connection with a case this intriguing?

“It’s a bloody mess, a very brutal scene,” Garden Grove Police Lt. Mike Handfield told the L.A. Times. “This is something we haven’t had in many, many years of Garden Grove history. Three victims killed inside a home is not something that happens here often.”
