Killer Sentenced in Taylor Summers Slaying

Gretchen Gallen, my superb editor at X Biz World, reports today:

NORRISTOWN, Pa.  Concluding a nearly year-and-a-half ordeal involving the disappearance and murder of adult model Taylor Summers, born Natel King, the man found guilty of stabbing her to death was sentenced to 24-51 years in prison.

Anthony Frederick, 47, issued a verbal apology to the King family in Montgomery County Court, although the victim’s mother, Jackie King, reportedly fled the courtroom before Frederick could finish.

In March 2004, King’s body was discovered in a ravine in Whitemarsh, Pa., a suburb 10 miles northwest of Philadelphia. She died from multiple stab wounds to the neck and upper body. The murder occurred in Frederick’s basement studio after he told King he didn?t have enough money to pay for the nude photo session they had just concluded.

Read the rest of the story. I think the sonofabitch should’ve received the death penalty.

I’m very sorry that Natel King’s family is going through this. I understand what her Dad means when he says their lives have been turned upside down. This is a tragedy.

This was a horrific crime and I cannot comprehend why the guy didn’t at the very least get life imprisonment.

I agree with you on the life imprisonment. While there has been SOME change in our “justice” system, there still needs to be a ton more. I put justice in quotes because for many murder victims’ families and friends they don’t get enough justice or none at all. Crime victims rights groups have done some good in changing the laws, but like I said a lot more work needs to be done. Honest sentencing would be a start, ie., life in prison actually means life in prison. Other countries who have TRUE sentencing for murder don’t have the crime rates we have. And the appeals process for people on death row, even if it’s shortened would help. I think people need to keep working on making changes, as to me if we don’t work on it things will be even worse than they are already. Thanks for listening.

Natel was a highly motivated and intelligent female. She would talk about her dreams and aspirations the way one would idealise a predominant future for all. I cant wait to join you in heaven Natel this world is shit without your strength.
    I love you.
